Oh, you should check out 'Les Mis' then. The film version with Liam Neeson as Valjean and Geoffrey Rush as Javert is particularly good. Rush makes Javert an understandable, almost sympathetic villain. The end of that film would definitely feed your bunnies.
Kav without rules...I could see him as a vigilante, esp. in a situation where there were no rules, or where the rules went counter to his personal ideals. He'd be imposing the rules himself, then.
Seems to me that maybe Kav missed his calling as a cop. Maybe he washed out of police academy, or couldn't even get in. What do you think?
