Semi-friends notice

Just a notice to say my journal is friends only, if you want to be added then comment here - however I tend to only friend people I at least know of or share some interests with, because if anyone is here for fandom stuffs those posts are all public anyway for general enjoyment by anyone who strays here... This is also so my friends list doesn't get absurdly big, so hopefully any lack of me friending people won't offend anyone. :)

Still if you want to be added, then do say something and I'm not adverse to others friending me if they like.

Yeah, I've been spreading green alot recently. Decided that it's good to give it out when people are contributing to threads, after all it's what it's for, and you've posted many lovely Weir pics on the WOW thread. :)

Sure, I'll add you. It's strange when you start LJ, isn't it, but there are plenty of Gwer's around. I've probably got more than ten friended. Weirfan, who you might recognise from the Weir threads, is on LJ too. :)

I've got a few icons so far, plans for a load more but currently occuppied capping Being Tom Baldwin - some caps are up at 4400_fans but only for a few scenes right now. The whole lot will be up on here, too, sometime today or tomorrow.

Anything of mine 4400 related is under that tag here (it's mainly fanfic, but there's some graphics and a fanvid as well), and it's all public for the fandom stuff, though I'm prefectly happy to friend you because you seem really nice based on your journal/userinfo.

Okay, my opinions on....

4400: Thumbs up! Have to go through all my DVDs without my house-mate heckling me (He does this every week), and I definitively need to track down the soundtrack. This season is interesting, but I can't can't help if they are setting it up as it's last.

Dexter: This is the Showtime show with Anthony Hall, correct? I haven't had a chance to check it out visually! I hope you are not referring to 'Dexter's Science Lab' ::smirk:: !

Heroes, yes, waiting to pickup up my DVD - the same with anything Whovian. Joss is releasing a two disc version of Serenity this fall, BTW. The new HP movie is yummy; have the book but not read it yet.... I really need to find a British media buddy who is willing to trade a Brit copy for a u.s. copy so I can thoroughly analyze *everything*. (Yes, I'm still and OCD Library Type)


SGA - mixed feelings on cast changes, but don't we all?

Dark Angel - picked up the first season, finally. Hex - love it.

4400 soundtrack actually got released in April. Even had the Jacqui McKenzie song used in the S2 finale on it. :)

Yep, I do mean Dexter and not Dexters Laboratory. Wonderful, dark but really great drama with fab characters. :D

2 disc version of Serenity ey, I thought there was already one with special features that was 2 disc... and oh yes, I too have got the new hp book but yet to read. Not seen the new film yet either, waiting to watch it with my mum in a few weeks time, gotta be patient and resist until then.

SGA, shall see how S4 turns out, can't really tell yet. Dark Angel, alas why do good shows never last. Hex - not yet seen all of S1 but liked it, slow but sure, intriguing. Definitely seen Torchwood, silly often, OTT, but I can't deny I like to watch, looking forward to S2.

I don't have any and I'm a bit busy with other works in progress to get to writing such a fic, sorry. If you find one I'd love to know, there seems to be little Dexter fic about.

Why don't you have a go at it? With enough thinking over I'm sure you could come up with an idea and after that it's practice writing + a good beta that makes for a good fic, worth a try perhaps. :)
