Taken from belisse. Following a read of this meta on lack of feedback I'm thinking I could do with pimping my gen/character stuff that I'm proud of (but get barely any comments on) about the place. I'm well enough known in the happy little SGA fandom niche of McKay/Weir but for any other fandoms or gen SGA stories, even straight main character angst/friendship things, seem to just sit about not getting much love. Hence I'm going to fill in this completely conceited meme in order to hopefully inspire people to read those fics that I adore myself.

Once Upon A Time (Descent Remix) Rated T 1/1 [BtVS/Angel] AU explanation of how Drusilla and Angel met. This is the story of how she became who she is, how he made her. A remix of Once Upon A Time by inalasahl for Redux IV: I Know What You Did Last Remix.

Moment by Moment Rated T 1/1 [The 4400] Written for HendrixClapton as part of the 4400 ficathon, who requested a S3 fic (went AU from actual episodes obviously) featuring crazed/monster Kevin Burkhoff v. Isabelle, with some Shawn/Isabelle and Isabelle tragedy/fight/possible redemption.

Fiendish Rated K 1/1 [SGA] S1 set humour fic, from OMC POV. They've been here mere months and people are going missing – being abducted – by something that shouldn't even exist. Only in the Pegasus Galaxy could this happen...

One Step Forward Rated K+ 1/1 [SGA] Elizabeth backstory combined with angst. Warning for non-main character death. Set somewhere in or after season 2, as you like.

That said, my 4400 in general I love to bits, loved writing and it's not a much loved fandom. I consistently had my betareaders being the only people who'd leave comments 90% of the time.

Also whilst doing this meme I found out that I have more than 100 fic posts, making the my fanfic tag a bit worthless since it wouldn't go back further than that. Hence now I'm leaving it for general talk of my fanfic and fics will be posted under for example the tag - my 4400 fic, my heroes fic or my sga fic etc. Should make it easier to find things within a fandom on my journal, though I really need to make myself a website to list everything on.

Time to tag people for the meme. I choose planetkiller, mari4212, wisdomeagle, tielan and lastly fanwoman, in the hope she'll start both using her LJ and getting her fic more out there.

Apart from your Library Au's I don't really know much about your fics. Are they mostly SG-1?

I never understand why your fics get so few comments, say, at fanfiction.net. I tend to put it down to the more complex and intellectual nature of your work :D Kind of like fewer people buy Shakespeare than Steele *rolls eyes* You could add that the that interesting meme, I reckon. Getting only one review for a very minority fandom area is often thanks enough, I found, but it would be so nice to get more!

You flatterer you! ;P Thing is, I don't expect minor character fic to get any reviews, maybe one or two is likely. What confuses me is how writing about Weir or Teyla doesn't or main character friendship/non action-adventure gen seems to get often less than the rare character fics. I can only presume I simply don't promote those well enough and I'm not well enough known outside the smaller pockets of fandom to attract much attention to them.

but yes, website would make it easier for fic to be found. Looks like my sga fic is approaching 100 in which case tags for that will soon be useless. Unless I'm missing something but it won't let me go further back than 100 entries for any one tag... Only problem is a website would eat up lots of my time. I'd want it to be php/mysql listings for ease later on but it'd take time to sort out right now... I could always test out efiction3 for a personal site. Might leave that until next week though, got some more writing, vidding and betareading to do right now.
