Do you just have to win a competition of some sort, or is there more to it than that? Can you be a champion without winning at all? Maybe your characters are great warriors, or professional athletes, or some combination thereof; but there’s less flashy ways to be a champion, too. Write a story about a champion. If your submission features gold, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting! |

Umatani Gifting Fest is a giftbox-style even focused on canons directed under the 'Umatani' pseudonym. Signed-up participants are guaranteed at least 2 gifts (minimums: 100 words for fic, 100x100 for graphics or icons, a small doodle for art, or equivalents for other mediums), but we currently have two participants missing 1 gift each for reveals to happen. Gifts may be posted under comments for the relevant requests, and will remain screened until reveals. Further rules can be found on the community's sticky post.
