I'm not sure of her lj name and hadn't gotten a response from her via the original email so I'm posting them publicly in the hope a) she might see them and b) even if not they'll get some use - that and I hate to keep things to myself, want some feedback. ;D

Firstly, everyone who likes tech, games or other geeky things should checkout![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
guruphil's new website DarkOrb. It's just finding its feet, is in need of content contributions but is certainly doing well for just a few weeks after launch. :)
For 4400 fans, I'd like to point out the newly revamped Jacqueline McKenzie (who, for anyone forgetful of names, plays Diana Skouris) community -jac_aholic. It's now got open membership, though with posts moderated, so if you've got anything to add - Jacqui news, icons, graphics etc - I'm sure it would be loved over there.
Now for the SGA stuffs - Stargate Fan Awards has opened voting finally. I've got a few things nominated myself, plus I know there's tons of great fic, art etc in there as always, so you should check it out, no excuses!
I'm also gonna point outrolleson has a poll up here asking about interest in a Sam Carter drabble-a-thon so if you might like to take part in one now or March you should go answer it.
Lastly, for McKay/Weir peepsaaobuttons has got a One Word Prompt Party going on. Easy to join in, just pick a word and make of it what you will. :D

britcomicontest and wheee I won mod's choice for the Blackadder Queenie one! It's my first ever award for an icon. :massive grin: I know I'm not the best icon maker, still got plenty of practice before I master GIMP but yay, obviously doing something right with cropping at the very least.

Also, check out my few 4400 graphical efforts recently. There's some Jacqui McKenzie headers/banners in this folder that were intended for the Jacqui community but didn't get used. And... ( Not my usual - Tom/Diana )

I started writing it as one but went too long and made two. Here's the separates Triad and Escape and here's the melding of them anyway.

Something done
Feb. 22nd, 2005 01:10 amAh, it was sooo cold last night that I went to bed freezing and woke up freezing having not gotten any decent sleep - also the coldness made me not want to get out of bed and out of the veritable warmth of the duvet until 12am. And by 2 or so pm i actually finally started that essay.
It was amazingly boring - I hate systems theory archaeology stuff and even mroe I hate rereading same thing for about the 20th time this last year. But I got essay done - not my best, might get 40% or might get 60% - hard to tell when its 1000 words. It said to compare the 3 text and I did so should be fair.
And after all that I decided to attempt some graphics, SGa of course and MCkay/Weir for the yahoogroup since I promised to try to make some. Resonably pleased with results consdering its my second attempt at things with GIMP and I've only spent maybe 4 hours playing with the program in total.
