Some LJ icons, no surprise they're SGA and also McKay/Weir!



Big thanks to toasteronfire who provided the bases. Also credit for filters/brushes from Bessyboo, colorfilter and ambiently. A few of these are very similar but with little tweaks like 7 and 8. Please credit, no hotlinking and feedback greatl appreciated.

Yay! So glad my bases are in good hands! :)

I like them all, but I'm really digging 3, 4, and 9 (is it because they're horizontal? *bad thoughts*) And out of all the variations on 11 I think I like the original the best.

Love the banner too, btw. Funny how the majority of M/W banners tend to have blue in them. I love blue so it's great for me, plus blue implies our shippy mellowness. :)

Yeah, I wasn't sure about 11 because you don't often have people not upright but I went for it because I thought why not try it. :)

And banners, McKay/Weir just has a blue feel to it, all the storminess, makes me think of the city to which both of them are attached in differet ways. McKay thinks of it as his city (Siege Part 1) and Weir spends so much time there, so... Blue like his eyes too. :D And Rodney's shirts... so much good to the blueness. :)

Oh yeah, is it allowed for me to enter an icon for the ship challenge made with one of your bases? (I know deadline is soon but I want to make one, I suppose I'd have to use a base you weren't too...)

I think the deadline is coming up though - one or two hours from now? Hope you can make it!

(I used base #23, btw, and I think doylefan is going for #26? Doesn't matter too much though, even if bases are duplicated the end result is always different!)
